Having said this, I do have an idea of what death by lethal injection might be like. The most common procedure (I discover later) is to ‘cardiovert’ the heart – that is, to stop and start it with a defibrillator. Instead, I was given an injection via IV of potassium chloride with thiopental sodium. Dead man walking. But don’t worry – I’m alive – else that would make me a zombie and you a necrophiliac. (I take no meds and have no physical health disorders that I’m aware of.) |
