# Dominance and submission
Submission unearned is not submission worth having. I don’t view Dominance/submission as me putting someone else into my box, I view it as us building a box together based on what we each desire, deciding if we both like the box, and if so, continually exploring and adjusting the box as we learn more about each other. It is also nice to have some common vanilla interests as well.

Are we compatible enough to explore spending time together? Imagine yourself, naked, collared, on your knees, with your head in my lap as I gently pet you. I am dressed, but have removed my belt so that it won’t touch your head. Your hands are chained behind your back, leather cuffs, not handcuffs, and a chain giving enough slack so that there is no strain on your arms. Your knees rest on a thick exercise mat, and memory foam pillows. We have taken our time in previous conversations to establish that I am in charge of handling the details, so all there is for you to do is remain as you are while I am petting your back and playing with your hair. If this sounds liberating rather than restraining, or restraining but in an exciting way, then we probably have enough compatibility to warrant a conversation.

# More details

I have a form of Autism known as Asperger’s Syndrome, which has advantages and disadvantages. Some advantages are an immense ability to focus, attention to detail, and ability to create clear and easy to follow protocols in a D/s relationship. One disadvantage is “social norm blindness” which makes it impossible for me to fit in with any social group, and unable to keep up with the constant, unstated changes of a “relationship escalator” without someone willing to give me feedback.

# My baseline standard
Keep in mind that I am a dominant, not a babysitter, so I will invest more of my time with people who are already self-sufficient enough to handle grown up things like their own finances, verbal communication over a phone, meeting somewhere in person, et cetera.
